Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

Hello

It’s been a really busy few weeks.

We are adding so many new products to our range, and theirs lots more coming.

If you want a super bright Fluoro - fluorescent Paint, that is suitable for all interior and protected exterior surfaces, we now suuply them Fluoro Super Bright Fluorescent Paint

For those of you who keep asking for glow and blacklight face and body paints we now supply fluro face and body paint.

A product that is sure to be as popular as glow in the dark pigments is blacklight powder. These powders come in nine fluorescent glowing colours, and just like glow in the dark pigments has very many uses. We have phone enquires every week from businesses wanting this beautiful product. Hopefully it will be released around Christmas 2008.

The beauty of the black light powders is that, if they are near a uv, or blacklight source of light they will fluoresce - glow, consisantly at the same level of brightness, until the blacklight source is switched off, whereas glow pigments need darkness, and over many hours their illumination decreases.

There are many more beautiful and exciting glow and blacklight products we want to release now, but time and money to release these products is not available.

We will also release a new sky blue glow rock within the next two weeks to comliment our Green super glow rock

Ok bye for now….

Glow In The Dark & Black Light - How are they different

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Hello
A lot of our customers seem to be unaware of the differences betwwen glow in the dark products, and UV Black Light Products. So the following is a summery of the two individual product series.
Glow In The Dark Products (usually contain glow in the dark powder - Pigments), absorb and store light energy, in well lit places, for example outdoors, and inside near fluorescent lighting. Other Sources of lighting, are the sun, light bulbs, UV Blacklight torches, and neon lights.
When The Glow in the Dark product is removed from the light source, for examples room lighting is switched off, the glow in the dark pigments within the glow product, will discharge light energy over many hours; gradually becoming dimmer as time progresses.
As a gereral rule, the larger the glow pigment, the longer and brighter the glow. So some glow products will glow all night long.
UV Fluorescent Black Light Products, (can be true UV fluorescent products using Fluorescent Pigments - Powders) Glow - Fluoresce when exposed to a UV or Black Light source and do not store light energy.
If the UV Fluorescent or BlackLight is switched off or removed from being near the UV Fluorescent Product, the UV Fluorescent Product will cease to Glow - Fluoresce. In other words UV fluorescent products do not store the light energy, but instead release it imediately. To see an example of UV Fluorescent Lighting, go to a night club.
